Sign up now for wreath making classes! Rose and I are holding our annual lavender wreath making classes at Morningsun Herb Farm ! . We will have more class times available, and classes will be small, just 6 students, to allow for individual tables and plenty of space. . In each class you will only need to bring clippers and gloves. We always have so many terrific choices of flowers and herbs, and in each class we will also discuss growing your own flowers for use in craf...ting. . Want to learn more about lavender? The lavender wreath class will include plenty of discussion about growing, processing and using lavender. Don’t wait, classes are filling! Sunday morning inspiration. Drying flowers is one of the most satisfying projects on the farm. When the small plot of flowers is bursting there’s no since of rushing or stress that I’m losing blooms. Instead what we don’t sell we’re harvesting and tying up to dry. . We have a small shingle shed we use and when that’s full we hang them outside on old wire fencing or inside our barn . Looking at flowers as they change and deepen their color or fade and keep their shape is... a whole new level of beauty. . Each fall quiet hours are spent making wreaths with dried peonies or zinnias , yarrow or roses. working on the creative inner self to fuel new ideas . The farm continues to move its spirit through me and I am compelled to keep on. Even after fires, droughts, and floods everything here still fills me up. . . We sell our wreaths direct from the farm and on December 12 @sweetpeasvacaville Christmas craft fair. I haven’t figured out how to ship them yet but I will ! .

"Not only are companies not required to use on-package labels, but they can use QR codes instead. As the Center for Food Safety has long argued, QR codes are inherently discriminatory to the elderly, poor, rural and minorities. And if companies do use an on-package label, it must use the phrase bioengineered food, a term not commonly used or understood by consumers." https://www.cornucopia.org//usdas-gmo-labeling-law-is-a-/
