San Diego got just a glimpse of what the @sandiegoloyal was all about before we all went into lockdown. We’ve been through a lot, struggled from within to stay healthy and maintain a strong community and focus towards a prosperous and sustainable path ahead. Over the past few months, we’ve learned how special this club really is for everyone in the community, excluding no one. soccerloco and the San Diego Loyal have worked incredibly hard putting together a kit that best repr...esents how we feel about the return of soccer during fragile and uncertain times. We both stand for more than just soccer. We believe that unity through diversity is what empowers us and enlightens us. And together, we stand in solidarity against racism and the violence fueled by hatred against the Black community. When the SD Loyal take the pitch, this kit will be a symbol of what we believe in: Equality, Diversity, Compassion. It is our duty, as supporters, to illustrate these same values off the pitch and in every aspect of our lives. soccerloco and SD Loyal will donate a portion of the proceeds from this jersey and from "Together San Diego" merchandise to the Association of African American Educators of San Diego (AAAE), an organization that advocates for equity in education within the ethnically diverse pupil population of San Diego County. At the end of the season, the player-worn jerseys will be auctioned off to fans with the profits going toward the AAAE. .
