Services for Ted Shaw will be held at 12 noon on February 24, 2020 at Holy Family Church, 1527 Fremont Avenue, South Pasadena, CA 91030. Reception to follow at Annandale Golf Club, 1 North Rafael Avenue, Pasadena CA 91101 business attire (no jeans, no shorts). In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation to the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses Checks can be mailed to: P.O. Box 3662, South Pasadena, CA 91031.

Our hearts are heavy as our founder, leader, Greatness, Big Chief, boss, mentor, and friend has passed away. Ted Shaw, your SMMA family will treasure the wonde...rful times we all had together. You always included our work family as part of your family. We are honored and blessed to have had all these years of wonderful memories: our company picnics, Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Sea World, and many other activities. I’m sharing some pictures from previous years when we were not large enough that you invited my son’s Boy Scout Troop and their leaders to Disneyland, along with other pictures of Disneyland as we grew, our staff and their families having a great time and getting to know each other, company pictures over the years. As most can see, there are many who are still with us today. Not only have you helped all of us at one time or another, you always were helping complete strangers. Over the years we watched as you made some family that were not known to you personally, with giving their entire family a wonderful meal and gifts for each family member at Christmas. My fondest memory was when we delivered food and a bicycle to a family in San Bernardino, then another year giving to a family in Highland Park. You not only supported your own town of South Pasadena and Holy Family Churchyou reached out to other communities. You and Joan were always giving, helping, and encouraging. We will miss youRest in Peace Ted. To the Shaw family and all the grandchildren and great grandchildren, your SMMA family are here for you and will continue to grow as Ted would expect from all of us.
