SBMT has been instrumental in pushing congressional policies in the area of neuroscience in partnership with the White House and the US House of Representatives Congressional Neuroscience Caucus. We have been the force behind the White House BRAIN Initiative and started the Neuroscience-20 of the G20 summit as part of our international brain initiative. One of our goals is spreading awareness to address psychological disorders such as PTSD for healthcare workers, anxiety, and stress for patients. We want to emphasize the changes the world has experienced after the 21st Century pandemic to highlight the occurrence and prevention of suicides and increased incidence of neurological illnesses.
