Come join our award winning program located in the Oakland Bay Area! Bay Island Gymnastics is seeking (2) part-time or full-time enthusiastic, motivated, and dependable individuals to work within our competitive team programs. We are hiring qualified individuals with experience coaching Women's Junior Olympic ...Levels 3-10 and Xcel Levels Silver-Diamond. Applicants must be able to work well within a team environment and have experience working with competitive athletes. Applicants should be dedicated to teaching excellent form and technique, utilizing proper progressions, and creating a positive learning environment. Choreography experience or strong spotting skills are a plus! Salary is competitive and based on experience. Full-time positions include health benefits, paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick time and 401k retirement. Coaches are given the opportunity to expand their knowledge through USAG Congress, Workshops and Region 1 Training Camps. At a recent Lucas Sports fundraiser with Laurie Hernandez, gymnast Addyson received coaching from Laurie on a flip that she had never before accomplished. With her fellow gymnasts shouting encouragement, and Laurie giving last-minute instructions, Addyson tried the flip during Laurie's clinic.... and nailed it!
