Well, it happened again.... In case you haven't heard, Personal care services have been ordered to close due to the Governor's new stay at home order. Here are the details....... I will be closed for all services until after the new year. If you have an appointment scheduled I will send you a cancelation text reminder and add you to the top of my waitlist for the new year. If you would like to be added to the waitlist for next year, and have first choice of appointments when I reopen, respond in the comments. Sorry for the lack of communication recently, but I was trying to process the current situation in California. After being open only 2 weeks, personal care services were abruptly shut down again due to a spike in Covid-19 cases in the county. In an interesting twist, last week the beauty industry including esthetics were given the ok to provide services outdoors. I, however, will not be reopening under these circumstances. Working outdoors isn't realistic, or possible with ma...ny services I provide. Many services are contraindicated by sun exposure and most require the use of machines and other equipment. Also, there are issues with disinfection and sanitation and really who wants a parking lot facial? So, I will remain closed for services until I can work again indoors in a controlled and sanitized environment. I want you to maintain your glow though so, I'm still selling products from Dermalogica and have now added Vivant Skincare and devices from My Skin Buddy for home care. Now is a good time to spring clean your skincare products. As a general rule open products are good for a year but check the back of the container for a little open jar with a number inside (officially called the PAO logo, or period after opening). The number will tell you how long, in months, the product is good for. If you can't remember when you opened it use common sense; if it smells weird, changed color or consistency toss it out. Now you can assess what your routine is... lacking and fill in the gaps.
