We were able to do some volunteer work this morning after a few @socialfitclub sessions. Thank you for coming out to safely help the community. Over a 100 meals were prepared and distributed.

Today is the last day to register to vote in the upcoming local, state, and national elections, held on Tuesday, November 3rd. You can register RIGHT NOW at https://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/voter-registration Only 55% of eligible Americans voted in the last presidential election. That’s barely half. 80.71% of eligible San Franciscans showed up in 2016, and while that does make us want to don our #SFGiants cap and whoop with local pride, that still means that 1 out of 5 el...igible people in SF didn’t vote! DON’T WANNA VOTE? We understand you probably don’t like your choices... We sometimes feel frustrated, disillusioned, detached... even hopeless. But we know this: Elections are decided by people who choose NOT to vote. Thinking that you *MIGHT* not make a difference is an exceptionally bad reason not to try at all, isn’t it? Choosing between maybe making a difference and definitely not making a difference we’d pick maybe making a difference every time. We’d vote. 700 meals in May with @alpastorpapi415 With help from a community-funded campaign, @alpastorpapi415 is serving 700 meals in May to those in need. All money raised will go towards purchasing food, preparing it, and delivering meals with the help of partnered organizations including the @filipinocommunitycenter in the Excelsior district and @poder.sf in the Mission district. If you are interested in learning more or donating a meal, head to the link in our bio! ... On this #LaborDay we wanna gave thanks and appreciation and highlight these 25+ kick ass barbers and stylists who have joined forces to form @the.barber.collective.sf After 6 months of zero work and zero income to be able to support themselves and their families, they took a risk, thought outside (literally) the norm and have now completed over 500+ haircuts in just 5 days We are so damn proud of each and every one of them and feel so humbled to be able to use our space to put some much needed back in to their communities #supportsmallbusiness #shoplocal
