Join us in wishing Nala a very Happy Birthday!! Nala came to us from Guide Dogs of America - Tender Loving Canines as a trained therapy dog for San Joaquin County Family Justice Center. She assists victims- adults, children, the elderly- with trauma or when they are needed to testify on the stand. In the short month and a half she’s worked with our office, she’s helped COUNTLESS families work through their pain. Today, she’ll be celebrating alongside our staff at the second night of the Lodi Christmas Light Extravaganza from 5PM-9PM at the Lodi Grape Festival. #FJC #GoodGirl #TherapyDog #SJCDA

This year, the Kiwanis Club of Greater Lodi had to make changes to the beloved Lodi Light Parade, and we’re excited to participate! COLD CASE REVIEW: On June 12, 2012, Tyrone "Tall T" Franklin was sitting on a park bench in Long Park (in the Weston Ranch area of Stockton) with his girlfriend. Someone approached him from behind and tapped him on the shoulder. As Tyrone turned, he was fatally shot. The murderer fled from the scene on foot and has yet to be identified. Tyrone Franklin was an aspiring young hip hop artist who had a bright and promising future. He was well known for his participation in com...petitive battle rap events and had an album that was scheduled to be released later that summer. His friends and family were sad to see someone who could have made Stockton famous for music instead of violence taken away by violence in the end. Tyrone left behind a son and a loving family. In honor of our Veterans, the San Joaquin District Attorney’s Office and the Veteran Service’s Office partnered for a ceremonial flag raising on the courthouse steps. We are privileged to live in this great country, and we’d like to extend an even more gracious thank you to those Veterans in our office.
