The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving our world-class, data-driven marketing program. This role is also a key contributor to developing marketing messages and communications, planning and strategizing campaigns, and analyzing outcomes and recommending any necessary refinements. Driving digital marketing and communications will be a primary focus, but as a small and adaptable team this individual will also be involved in the full array of marketing and communication...s activities from developing concepts and campaigns, to metric-based analysis and adaptation. This role will work closely with the sales and business development team in achieving the company’s goals and objectives and executing on the company’s marketing strategy, with a focus on both B2B and B2C campaigns and conversion. Plan and support sales strategies and initiatives Understand customer and prospect base and develop effective sales and marketing messages within the context of company’s industry, customers, and market segments Identify and develop strong calls to action to help generate leads and manage the prospect funnel for desired results Develop digital advertising campaigns and track effectiveness Use digital analytics across website, social media, & other software platforms to analyze what works and what doesn’t to inform strategy Manage content across all company social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) Track and provide marketing support for the Company events and conferences Help manage contractors and vendors to support budgetary goals Communicate and collaborate often with key stakeholders Required Qualifications: A minimum of 1-3 years of marketing experience is required Proficient in Office 365, specifically Word and PowerPoint Experience using marketing software (CRM platforms, Hootsuite, Muck Rack, Mailchimp, etc.) Some level of graphic design familiarity, and experience using Adobe Suite applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail, proof-reading and editing skills Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills Excellent organizational skills Resourceful and creative problem-solver Ability to work independently as well in collaboration with others Positive and professional work attitude Preferred Qualifications: Experience working for a cleantech or energy company If you are passionate about renewable energy, new energy-related technology and battery storage, apply today! Remember back in 2016 when only 58% of eligible voters participated in the U.S. presidential election, reports citing prolonged wait times and conflicting work schedules as the reason? Now, in 2020, as we head toward another presidential election on November 3rd, Ventura County has inexplicably cut back on polling stations, from 389 during the March primary election, to a mere 47 in November. Though the 47 November polling stations will be open a total of four days rather tha...n just one, the numbers still fall short of the ‘standard’, which was wholly inadequate to start with, based on the reports of long lines and low voter turn-out. In an effort to counteract Ventura County’s ill-conceived ‘strategy’, that effectively limits available polling-sites for people looking to exercise their most basic democratic right, if not obligation, to vote, SimpliPhi Power CEO Catherine Von Burg has joined the business-led Time To Vote movement. The national, non-partisan initiative now has over 700 companies pledging to provide paid time off for all employees to leave work on November 3rd to support voter turnout.
