Bigfoot's robust Barleywine style makes it the perfect beer for cellaring. We first brewed this beast in 1983 and since then, many of you have gathered impressive collections. Share yours in the post comments. The 38th expedition is out now.
Can't miss this one on the canning line. Wild Little Thing is slightly sour, its tart smack layered with guava, hibiscus & strawberry, which give it a fruity-sweet depth and a bright pop of color.
Have a warm and cozy weekend. Except your beer; keep that cold. @chrisbennettphoto
Who's ready for a flavor journey? The juicy aroma and burst of nectarine make Wanderland ripe for all your adventures.
Make way for the Big Little Thing, an imperial IPA flexing a full malt body, restrained sweetness, and tropical hop flavors of mango, grapefruit and tangerine.
May your skies be clear and your beer be Hazy.
It's Torpedo Tuesday. Spellcheck: Twosday.
Scenic days can be Wild ones, too. Slightly sour, with guava, hibiscus & strawberry. : Alex Burgdorfer
Our friends at Jam In the Van have kept the music rolling all year, and ahead of their Heartless Bastards livestream on November 17th, they’re raffling off a YETI cooler whose trippy Hazy Little Thing mountainscape was hand-painted by I Am Skye Walker. Thanks to you, Pale Ale is still regarded as a craft beer favorite. We're completely honored to say Pale Ale is this year's #1 Beer in the Craft Beer and Brewing Best in Beer Readers' Choice, along with some of our other favorite beers and breweries. Cheers to that! Sierra Nevada launched in 1980, and this month marks our 40th anniversary. Join our founder, Ken Grossman, and his son, Brian, as they reflect on 40 years of brewing independent craft beer. Bring your questions and share your own favorite memories for this special edition of Sierra Nevada Live. Oh, and don't forget your beer.
Get power here, brew over there. Between our solar arrays and microturbines, we can generate more than 90% of the electricity needed to run our Chico, CA brewery. Explore our interactive sustainability maps: sierranevada.com/about/sustainability/
Looks like someoneor somethingis out for your Hazy this Halloween.
We're giving National Stout Day some extra sizzle with this Barrel-Aged Narwhal Bacon recipe from our friends @the.beer.belly. INGREDIENTS 1 lb slab bacon or thick-cut bacon 1/2 cup brown sugar... 1/3 cup Narwhal DIRECTIONS Heat oven to 400 F. Slice slab bacon into 1/8th-inch thick strips. Place a wire rack on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Arrange bacon slices on wire rack and cook in oven for 10 minutes. Whisk together brown sugar and Narwhal until sugar has dissolved. Remove bacon from oven and brush both sides with beer glaze. Cook in oven for 10 more minutes. Repeat process 2-3 times, until you’ve used up the glaze and bacon is browned and crisp. Let cool for 30 minutes on the wire rack. Remove bacon from rack and let rest for 1 more hour before serving.
Here’s our founder Ken Grossman, just before his own beer was a reality. Sierra Nevada launched in 1980, and November marks our 40th anniversary. This month, we’ll take a look back with posts from the photo archives and a special Sierra Nevada Live with Ken and his son, Brian, next Thursday (11/12) at 4:00 PT. Bring your questions, and bring your beer.

Something is lurking in the hop cooler...brew if you dare.
Fall might be our favorite time of the year. Cooler weather, falling leaves...and some very fresh IPAs. Today on Sierra Nevada Live, we’ll taste through some of our favorite timely beers: Northern Hemisphere, Celebration, and a new year-round offering: Dankful. Featuring Terence Sullivan, Byron Wetsch, and our very own "Pope of Foam" Charlie Bamforth. Taste along and ask your questions live. Cheers!
@spearsIV is clearly pumped to score this Wild Little Thing longboard, a one-off design painted by Tahoe artist @rynoart.
We haven't missed a Great American Beer Festival since there was a GABF. And on our 40th anniversary, we couldn't be happier about winning bronze for 1979 Stout, the first beer we ever brewed. Thank you, friends, what an honor. Join us tonight as Ken leads an online tasting of Pale Ale and Celebration IPA, a holiday favorite since 1981. You can still get your ticket and sip along here: https://www.greatamericanbeerfestival.com/

Unleash the malt monster. Narwhal Imperial Stout, 10.2% ABV. Catch it while you can.
Narwhal is a barley bounty, overflowing with malty notes of chocolate, espresso, molasses & more. Grab your treasure, before it dives back into the depths.
Pair our 2020 Oktoberfest with some homemade German spaetzle, an egg noodle pasta. This bowl of buttery heaven is an easy midweek wingreat on its own or alongside an entree (like this fall-apart pot roast). Click here for the recipes: https://bit.ly/377tfeE #ProstLikeAPro
