Shogun New Year's Special 5-day!! Excellent fishing aboard the Shogun. 1st day: 12 BFT. (2)@ 50-70#, (9)@ 110-180# and the biggest (1)@ 270#... Yesterday: 36 BFT & 1YFT. (14)bft@ 70-90# and the rest @ 110-190#. They are having a fabulous start to the trip with today and tomorrow to still fish before coming back to the dock on 12/31/2020!! Shogun returned from their 9 day rice bowl charter trip with a gorgeous catch on the yellowtail. The ended the trip with 250 yellowtail, 60 dorado, 15 wahoo and 143 yellowfin. Nice job guys!!! -Shogun Crew

Hey guys. Just checked in with the Shogun. They left on 10/15 and headed south to the rocks and the ridge. They have 45 wahoo and 180 yellowfin tuna. Shogun returned this morning from the True Charter 10-day with limits of Dorado, some yellowtail, yellowfin, 1 wahoo, a couple of bft cows and super cows and some other nice bft over 100#. Hopefully these big guys keep biting on upcoming trips. The boat left today on an 8-day trip. We have some openings on upcoming trips, so check www.shogunsportfishing.com for availability. Shogun called in with (2) bft over 300#, (3) bft over 200#, and (5) bft 130-180#. They also have 16 yft 50-70#. They are traveling today to the ridge to fish for more species including wahoo. Good morning guys!! Shogun returned this morning from a 1.5 day with near limits of BFT. They head back out today on a 3 day trip. . . . I know you all are wondering about the recent incident on the Shogun and we can’t say much at this time since it’s an ongoing investigation. But what we can tell you is that all crew members are alive and well and we will continue to run trips as scheduled. It was an unfortunate incident and those crew members are no longer a part of Shogun... Sportfishing. The captains on upcoming trips will be Rene Monteagudo and his relief will be Jeff Debuys. Good morning guys. A lot of you’ve been asking for current Fish reports so that you can be prepared for your upcoming trip, but the Shogun is on their annual ten-day Monterey Bay aquarium collecting trip, so therefore we have nothing to report. Please check the Fishermans Landing website for all of their current conditions on the boats that are fishing and for any tackle recommendations. Thanks. We will be back to reporting next week! Hey guys. Shogun had a great day yesterday and called in with 93 bluefin and 52 yellowfin so far for the first 2 days of fishing. Today they only have 1 bft on board but the bite is starting to pick up. Today is our last day of fishing on this 3-day so wish us luck!!
