Virtual writers circle tonight

The next virtual writers circle is next Wed, Dec 9th!

Support the Lake County Poet Laureate Program! The Poet Laureate program in Lake County is entirely volunteer based and is not financially supported by any entities, organizations, or the county. Current Poet Laureate Georgina Marie is in the process of applying for various grants but in the meantime, she has launched a campaign to raise funds that will support her work and the ability to pay local writers to co-facilitate workshops or be featured readers at special events!... This funding would especially support local writers in this community during the pandemic. Any amount will make a difference. Learn more by visiting the campaign page and please share!

The next virtual writers circle meets this week on Wednesday Nov 25th on the evening before Thanksgiving and we'll still be holding the circle for anyone who'd like to attend. Bring work you'd like to share for feedback. We'll also do some gratitude journaling for our free write in honor of the upcoming holiday.
