The management of The Sherry Theater has been monitoring the evolving (Covid-19) Corona Virus situation for the last few weeks. Due to Mayor Garcetti's executive order, we have postponed all performances and film screenings through March 31st. To the organizers of these events: Thank you for your terrific leadership. -Red Meat is a ridiculously strange show. it’s unabashedly unhinged & spits in the face of conventional theatre & all the things they tell you you can’t do. i...t’s like spike lee & john waters had a baby...on speed. it’s funny, it’s fucked, it’s dark & it’s never boring. April Littlejohn is out of her mind & her unfiltered vision is refreshing. Amanda Talamantez is relentlessly funny & acts/stage combat(s)’ simultaneously till yr dizzy, trying to keep up. & Melissa Kirkpatrick sings, dances & is generally strange throughout. also, she’s super beautiful & i have a big crush on her but that couldn’t possibly matter less. those were my three favorites. it’s a big cast. come see it & you’ll probably have 3 different favorites. come see something new. come see something strange. what else are you gonna do? stay home & watch tentpole movies on yr phone till the end of time? take a fucking chance & go see Red Meat. it’s fun, it’s alive & it’s selling out fast! just fucking do it- See more
