In light of the horrific shootings and loss of life in El Paso, Texas; Dayton, Ohio; and Chicago, Illinois this weekend, Healthy Children has provided a resourc...e for talking to children about these tragic events. Healthy Children suggests that it is better for children to hear about these events from trusted loved ones than inevitably hearing it from classmates or the media. This page includes resources for younger children, older children and teens, children on the ASD spectrum, and signs to look for that your child needs additional support. https://www.healthychildren.org//Talking-To-Children-About

A fantastic article about therapy, how it works, and why it can work IF you let it. Authenticity is key. https://www.nytimes.com//lori-gottlieb-maybe-you-should-ta
Postpartum depression, which can happen to mothers within a few weeks to a few months after giving birth, is a terrifying illness and is often difficult to trea...t. Until now, there has not been any treatment specifically approved for postpartum depression.
