YMCA Mountain Bike Series is coming back for 2022! It will be taking place on June 14th, 21st and 28th. Same format as before with registration starting at 5:00 at Upper Greenhorn with the C race starting at 6 and A and B races starting at 6:30. More information to come!

The dream of 100 miles of single-track in Siskiyou County is becoming reality. Endless thanks to the many collaborators who helped get Mount Shasta Trail Association's Prop 68 proposal funded. This award will enable our community to build out some 25+ additional miles of the Gateway Trail System in Mount Shasta, California. These things don't happen "just because" and none of this would be possible without Andrew Braugh, whose healthy imagination, vision and persistence has... led to this accomplishment. How do you design a gigglicious trail system? You get Andrew Pellkofer and the amazing team at Trail Labs Co. to bring science-based design and PURE FUN to professional trail building; Need to stay organized, enthusiastic, productive and accountable? Engage the Mount Shasta Trail Association. And you can't do this without the land. Maybe, just maybe, you luck out and there's someone like Becky Cooper at the US Forest Service who is willing to take a big risk and work creatively within what can only be the "interesting" constraints of a federal bureaucracy. Bringing it to life are the many volunteers who help create and maintain these new miles of sustainable singletrack, keeping us healthy, happy, riding, running and hiking for decades to come.
