Humboldt Roller Derby stands with the black community and all those protesting the recent killings of black Americans, police brutality, white supremacy, and sy...stematic racism. We look to find ways to use our own privilege and platform to help affected communities succeed and make sure their voices are heard. Listed below are some resources that support antiracist organizing. We ask those in our community who are able to consider donating to organizations working for racial justice. A big congratulation to our MVP’’s from the game Saturday in Medford against SO Derby, thanks for hosting! Mamma Smackdown got Most Valuable Jammer, and guess what, it was her first time in a jammer only role. Mae Day got MVP for all her amazing blocking and jamming skills - she was also subjected to her first game as primarily jamming! Ringo Deathstar got MVB for owning the track as a blocker. ...
