Olive was brought to our rescue a couple weeks back. We took her in because she was in pretty bad shape. She had oral surgery twice to repair her oral fistula‘s. She was underweight and malnourished from an improper diet. She was finally healthy enough to be spayed only to find out that her ovaries were in really bad shape. Her ovaries and uterus were sent in for a biopsy and unfortunately came back positive for ovarian carcinoma. There’s a possibility that it has not spread ...beyond that area. The only way to know is to have a CT done. The CT is $1300. Olive deserves a loving forever home but the only way that she can be adopted is if we are certain she is 100% cancer free. This little baby was born yesterday. Our rescue is trying to trap mom and another baby. She had a small litter only two kittens. In the meantime this one is safe and in a foster home.

Prince arrived at our rescue a little over a week ago. It took some time to get him to trust us. We don’t know how long he was living out in the streets but he was very depleted when he first arrived. He is such a sweet boy full of personality and love. He is getting stronger and healthier every day.

Meet Charlie. He was a bottle baby since the day he was born. When his eyes started to open, we noticed his eyes did not look quite right. As it turns out, Charlie is a unicorn! (Early 2000s reference anyone?) He has both eyelid agenosis and entropion in his eyes. Because of this, he will need at least one of his eyes removed as these conditions can cause agitation and pain in the eyes. He is such a sweet boy and will purr the instant you touch him. The surgery he needs is not cheap, so we are asking for your help in funding his surgery. Anything helps, including sharing this post! After he recovers from his surgery, he will be available for adoption and will make an amazing addition to anyone’s family.

Sweet little Holly is two weeks today. She is very healthy and alert. We got her in when she was only an hour old. She is a beautiful puppy.

This very frightened little kitty was brought into our care today. Somebody in her neighborhood was poisoning cats and kittens and most of them disappeared. She was trapped last night and brought to our rescue where she is now safe. She was placed in a foster home.

Amari was raised around dogs, cats, and reptiles. We took her in when she was two days old and was tube fed because of her cleft lip and palate abnormality. Her deformity will not require surgery. She lives a normal healthy life. She loves to eat, play,, chase her stepsiblings, and snuggle up when it’s time to rest. She is truly a special puppy. She’s a lab and pitbull mix. Missy was brought in over a year ago with a litter of babies so she would have the opportunity to be adopted. Minnie was brought in as a bottle-fed baby a couple months back. 12 baby bunnies need rescuing. Bunnies multiply very quickly. We need to raise the funds in order to have all 12 vaccinated and eventually spayed/neutered and microchipped..
