All month long, we’ll be checking in with our #HockeyFightsCancer Community Captains presented by Kaiser Permanente Thrive, cancer warriors who were honored at previous Hockey Fights Cancer Nights Our first two Community Captains are Tyler and Paris! Tyler and his twin brother Alex had the special honor of dropping the puck back in 2017. We are excited to share that Tyler is four years in remission! Paris was hosted on the blueline in 2017 and her favorite moment was going out on the ice and meeting all the players in the locker room. We are thrilled to announce that Paris is one-year cancer free!

We spent the morning at Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services helping pack grocery bags for the Full Hearts Grocery Program! In partnership with our #HockeyFightsCancer presenting partner Kaiser Permanente Thrive, our $10,000 grant will provide $97,000 worth of groceries to homes of children with cancer! 10 members of #TeamTeal helped pack and deliver 70 bags today - in total, the donation will support 2,100 bags and serve 1,050 people!... #SJSharks | S.J.
