Spring 2019 ASB General Elections Tuesday, May 7th (9 a.m. 5 p.m.)... Wednesday, May 8th (9 a.m. 5 p.m.) Polling booths are located: Student Activities Center (Building 44) VVC Gymnasium Advanced Technology Center (Building 21) Seventeen VVC students have qualified to be on this years' ASB 2019 General Election ballot. Each student has maintained the appropriate number of units, GPA and have submitted 150 signatures from current registered VVC students. They will be running for (12) of the available eighteen ASB Council positions to be filled for the 2019-2020 school year. Please consider taking a few moments in the next two days to cast your vote in either the Student Activities Center, VVC Gymnasium or Advanced Technology Center for these students. A valid VVC student ID will be required to vote. Applications for the remaining (6) ASB Council positions and for a VVC Foundation student representative will available and due the week after graduation, beginning as early as Monday, June 10, 2019. Please consider joining members of the Associated Student Body on Labor Day, Monday, Sept 3, 2018, beginning @ 6:00 A.M., in setting up 3,023 Flags of Honor. This process will take 8-10 hours. The flags provided courtesy of the Victor Valley College ASB, will be placed on the lawn adjacent to the VVC campus library, to remember and honor all the victims of September 11, 2001. Attached to each flag is the handwritten name of (1) individual. The High Desert United We Stand 9/...11 Memorial located in front of the VVC Library was designed by VVC student Joan Sowinski and funded by many supporters in the High Desert Community.
