Happy Halloween everyone!! Our friends at Sac State CKI have started to volunteer with us again and we could not be more grateful. Thank you so much for coming this past Tuesday and helping us pass out food and bags of Halloween candy! Our guests loved that there was candy this week. We are working on making the upcoming holiday meals special even though we won't be able to have dinner inside the gym. Per public health guidelines, we are feeding our community outside in the parking lot of the St. Philomene School. A Message to Our Community In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we have decided that we will not be congregating in the St. Philomene School gym for a hot, sit down meal. Instead, we will hand out bagged dinners to our guests outside the gym in the parking lot. Our meal service will still be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM but beginning this Tuesday, March 17 and until further notice, we will be distributing bagged dinners out to everyone. Volunteers are welcome to com...e help assemble and pass out the bags as early as 4:30 PM. (Edit: We have enough volunteers at the moment.) Although our operation is shifting temporarily in response to COVID-19, we remain committed to our important mission to feed the hungry in Sacramento. We have been doing so for the past 37 years and have never missed a Tuesday dinner. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed as things evolve. Thank you, our community, for your support.

Last week we served 511 barbeque tri-tip meals to the hungry in our community. It was a wonderful evening filled with live music, camaraderie, and love. Thank you to all the volunteers that came out to help and a big thank you goes out to the ABOTA lawyers for bringing this special dinner to our guests for the 7th year in a row! Hi all, Sharing God's Bounty is having its annual tri-tip dinner on Tuesday, July 23rd! There will be live music and all you can eat food. You don't want to miss it. We need guests to enjoy this special meal and volunteers to help serve it so share this with everyone you know. As usual, dinner is from 6-7pm and volunteers can help from 5-8pm. See you soon!
