Anyone who does not believe in miracles is not a realist. ~ Audrey Hepburn. I thought I was blessed to have one breast cancer survivor in my family, but now I can say I have 2 . Just 4 months ago my sister in law was diagnosed with an aggressive, quickly growing breast cancer. After 5 rounds of chemotherapy her tumors have disappeared. With a double mastectomy and radiation ahead of her, she still has hills to climb, but she’s a fighter and winner. Thank you for all... the prayers and support for her and their family. Ahhh, just too much to say about how I feel about motherhood. To my own mother, to being a mother, being surrounded by mothers and grandmas, and to women who at many times have filled that role and been mother figures... I love you, I respect you, I admire you. Motherhood has made me into someone I wanted to be, it’s what inspired me to do something creative while being a stay at home mom, and it’s what at the end of the day makes me fall into bed dead tired and full of tru...e and lasting joy. So... we did a little thing, and made a baby GIRL!!! and I finally coerced the husband (and myself) into taking some announcement pictures. She should be arriving mid August and I would be lying if I said I didn’t pray for her! I have loved being a boy mom so much, but I am so happy to be completing our family with a daughter.
