"If all of the heavens are singing along With the saints and the elders in glorious song And the praises they sing never seem to get old Then I'll stay here forever singing."... "Day and night they never stop saying: 'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.' Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: 'You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power.'" Revelation 4:8-11

Paul says that you can be certain of your salvation if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. The Spirit is not an occasional visitor; he takes up residence in God’s people. Pastor David Jeremiah, "The Spirit and the Flesh"

Our youth meetings are going great! Both Crew and Gathering are (safely) meeting on Wednesday nights. It's great to see the students be able to connect with their small groups again. We need to always have our heart and mind in the place where we’re going to spend forever. Under God’s protection, we have nothing to fear. Pastor David Jeremiah, "Living Above the Chaos"

Living Above the Chaos

Shadow Mountain Community Church 13.08.2020

In a volatile world, can we truly rise above the chaos? This weekend, Pastor Jeremiah will begin a brand-new series, Living with Confidence in a Chaotic World. Many of the Scripture passages that speak about Christ's return also give us very practical instruction on how to live while we are waiting for our Savior, and this short series will examine these two themes together. In this first message, "Living Above the Chaos," we'll look at Colossians 3:1-4, where Paul encourages us to focus on four specific things as we discover what it means to be hidden with Christ. Plan now to join us for one of our in-person services at our outdoor venue in El Cajon (Saturday & Sunday at 6pm), or participate online: Saturday 6pm, Sunday 9 & 10:45am, 12 & 6pm. live.shadowmountain.org

"God wrote Joash a blank check, and Joash only cashed half of it." - Pastor David Jeremiah, "Elisha's Final Miracle"

Shadow Mountain Community Church 12.07.2020

When Elisha told Joash to strike the ground with his arrows, Joash obeyed half-heartedly and received a partial result for his imperfect obedience. What is God calling you to do today? Whatever it is, do it with all the enthusiasm you can muster. Shoot all the arrows! "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Colossians 3:17... "Elisha's Last Miracle," Pastor David Jeremiah - shadowmountain.org/watch
