Day 2 Halloween Card Pull The Spider! The spider brings some of us into a fear state. Maybe it is all the legs and the way they move. Could be the fangs and poison that they carry. How about the dark places they create their webs to catch their unsuspecting prey. What if we view this magnificent creature the way some Native American traditions do? The spider is seen as the creature that gives birth to all other animals and sustains the web of life. The Goddess Spider ...Grandmother is the deity that brings wisdom, safety and communication. Spiders can be seen as a symbol of connection, not entrapment. This card today suggest that we look at the way we communicate with the wider community, at work or generally with others and take steps to improve this or do it slightly differently. There needs to be a balance between what you do for yourself and what you do for others. If we give too much to outside forces our strength diminishes and we cannot weave the supporting web for ourselves. Being part our Intutive Development Program and/or our Reiki certification program means you get to be part of some comprehensive group training with your peers. Last night we worked with a family who has been having loads of paranormal activity. Each student learned the art of remote viewing and tuned in ahead of time. Then the homeowner walked us through the property. We all shared our notes and was able to bring the homeowners some much needed validation. I am honored to be able to pass along the healing teachings of Dr. Usui. I decided to sit outside this morning to ground, center and focus before teaching my Reiki I Class. To show appreciation to Gaia and receive universal life force energy. It's also a great time to have that "board meeting" with my spirit team to start off my day in alignment with my higher purpose.
