Dear CAD Students, Did you know that for the past 3 semesters, undergraduate students have been teaching courses of their own design to other undergraduate students? Through Experimental College, undergraduate students propose and teach courses to other undergraduates, or take EXCO courses on a variety of topics from their peers. Go to the EXCO courses in the class schedule to see what’s being offered in Fall 2019, or to this site: http://ueap.sfsu.edu/exco/courses If you’re ...interested in teaching a class in the spring semester, you must fill out an application by October 30th. Online applications are at bit.ly/excoapply. EXCO supports undergraduates in the development of course syllabi, provides training in critical active pedagogy and provides mentoring to student teachers during the semester they teach through EXCO 401. Students teaching can earn up to 4 units of upper division elective credit. If you wish to take an EXCO course in the spring, look for EXCO 301 in the class schedule. Students get one unit of upper division elective credit for EXCO 301. For more information, email [email protected]. See more
