Busy day today! Makani was out on the water kayaking and rowing, Viking was busy building their new pram, and both Corsair and Viking went out for a gloomy afternoon sail.

Wow! Only one year ago a team of Corsair and Viking alumni banded together to start a Maritime Explorer Club, to provide water-based scouting opportunities to younger kids, ages 11-13. We knew it would be good but had no idea how successful it would be. With over 30 members now registered to Club #19, we're serving over 70 scouts total at the SF Sea Scout Base. Congrats to Skipper Hendzel and her team!

We had a great time on our scavenger hunt around Aquatic Park this past Saturday. Great to see so many of our members in person, especially our new scouts!
