We are currently running the very 1st International Online Youth Horseshoe Pitching Tournament in the history of horseshoe pitching! June 1 thru June 21. Entries: 33 kids from 12 States & 2 Canadian Provinces. So get out to Golden Gate Park, Stern Grove, or your backyard, take your camera and pitch in an online tournament with other people all over North America!

Opening ceremony and dedication for the new $1.4 MM Oak Woodlands trail in GGPark this Friday morning. The Horseshoe Courts are in the Oak Woodlands and are part or the new trail. This will bring a lot of exposure to the horseshoe courts and activation of the area.

Golden Gate Classic in Golden Gate Park SF. Nice day. We had a 5 way tie for 1st place in a 7 person Group B! 5 people with 4-2 records. How often does that ever happen? So we had a 5 person play off with SFHPC Gino Rinaldi pulling out a comeback win.

The Golden Gate Classic NHPA sanctioned tournament is tomorrow morning 10/13/18. Sign in by 9:30 AM. Golden Gate Park.

SFHPC website updates: The website host, wikifoundry for the www.sfhorseshoepitching.com has some serious issues. They have locked out ALL of their customers who host websites on wikifoundry.com. We have been unable to login and update our website for over 5 weeks. Thousands of customers have been waiting patiently for the bug to be fixed, but we have received NO feedback or timeline on when or if it will be fixed. The website is viewable but not editable by SFHPC Admin. Some pages have lost info. We are hopeful we will regain access to our website data again soon and are looking into alternate website hosts. We have been with the same host since 2007. FYI, Half Moon Bay horseshoe club is having the same problem.
