We are delighted to present the second annual SFDFF Embodiment Award to Oakland-based company YAK Films! This award acknowledges the achievements and influence of artists or organizations who have significantly contributed to the community of dance and filmmaking. YAK Films has launched a global movement that inspires street dancers to embrace their local street culture while using dance videos to connect to the international dance community.
