The wait is finally over! Seusspup Pet Grooming will be reopening with limited hours and availability starting June 1st. At this time we are booking appointments off of our waitlist ONLY until the list is complete. You can still add your name to our waitlist by texting 323.382.8057... Alaina will be in the shop Mondays- Wednesdays, and Kai will be grooming from her home shop in North Hollywood Fridays- Sundays. THE ENTIRE STAFF IS CONSIDERED HIGH RISK FOR CONTRACTING CORONAVIRUS. Due to this fact, and the Mayors order, there will be adjustments to standard dropoff/pickup protocol, to maintain appropriate social distancing. These protocols will be emailed to each client as their appointments are booked. Thank you for your continuing support and patience as we start working through the waitlist! Pup starting to look a little shaggy? The most important thing to remember is to brush brush brush! (And comb) it may be a daunting task, but you dont have to do it all in one sitting, take 5 min today to brush out a leg, do another leg tomorrow, a tail the day after and so on, if you do a little every day it wont get too out of hand! I have had a few people reach out to let me know other grooming salons are reopening. This photo, borrowed from a groomer friend of mine who reached out to the health department directly, is an email explaining that grooming, indeed is NOT considered an essential business. Seusspup will remain closed. We are missing our clients and their pups terribly, but are doing our part, and remaining closed. We are still talking donations, as well as selling digital gift cards if any of you are able or wanting to contribute. Be safe. Be healthy. As the mayor has declared a stay at home order and closure of non-essential businesses until At least April 19th, possibly beyond, I have had people ask if we are ok and if theres anything you can do to help... There is. Our staff of 3 is unable to work. We are unable to telecommute to our job and are at a standstill until this is over. If you are able to donate, and if it is not a hardship to you at this time, we are accepting donations via venmo and paypal at this time. Al...l donations will be equally distributed between the 3 of us as they are recieved. Every bit helps, and every share is appreciated. As of March 16, we are closing in accordance with the government's recommendations to do our part to stop the spread of coronavirus. At this time we are unsure of how long of a closure will be neccessary, but will do our best to keep our clients informed as we move forward. While we are not currently booking any appointments we are taking names down for booking when we reopen.
