S.E.S. Portuguese Hall of Santa Clara

A Sociedade do Espírito Santo (SES Corporation) de Santa Clara celebrou a sua 121 festa em honra do Divino Espírito Santo no passado domingo, 11 de Junho de 20...17. A coroação saiu do salão da SES na Lafayette Street após os hinos e içar das bandeiras em direção à Igreja de Saint Clare onde de celebrou a missa. Após a missa e a coroação das rainhas na igreja, as 22 irmandades e filarmónicas regressaram ao salão onde foram servidas as sopas do Espírito Santo. Fizeram parte da festa a presidente Henriqueta Silveira e marido Manuel, vice presidente Lina Souto e marido Joe, secretária Linda Ávila, tesoureiro Michael Castro e Marshal Teresa Neves. The SES Corporation of Santa Clara held its 121st Holy Spirit on Sunday, June 11, 2017. The parade left the hall on Lafayette Street after the playing of the national anthems and the raising of the flags towards St. Clare's Catholic Church. After the mass and crowning of the queens, the 22 brotherhood organizations and marching bands returned to the hall where "sopas" were served. This year's Festa were presided by Henrietta Silveira and husband Manuel, vice president Lina Souto and husband Joe, secretary Linda Ávila, treasurer Michael Castro, and Marshal Teresa Neves.
