We've got a magic show coming up TODAY for the Ha-Ha-Holidays with Amazing Dana the Magician on the Virtual Hub for a laugh-out-loud magic show. Get ready for magic tricks featuring silk handkerchiefs, rope, a snowman, a fish and a 'fraidy-cat rabbit! Learn something newhe may even share a secret trick or two for you to perform on your own. Got a budding chef on your hands? Tune in this Saturday to Sticky Fingers Cooking and get the kids to make some tasty treats. This program is geared towards elementary school-aged children and is free, but space is extremely limitedso sign up today! Looking for something a little spooky? With Halloween essentially canceled this year, we wanted to offer a chance for kids to still put on their costumes, get out of the house, and SAFELY show those costumes off in a trusted space- AKA the Curb Outside Your Library. The Library Shop has teamed up with award winning illustrator Susie Ghahremani to bring you a touch-free, socially distanced, curbside way to show off your family's Halloween costumes at your local library branch- THE HAUNTED LIBRARY MURAL! The Haunted Library Mural will be at the Serra Mesa-Kearny Mesa Library on Wednesday, October 28 from Noon to 4pm. In addition to the chance to take your own photos we'll provide each family with a free souvenir polaroid (given to you touch-free, straight from the camera!) to remember your visit by!

Halloween is creeping up, are you interested in joining a Halloween Story Theater? This month we're trading our chickens for ghosts and ghouls! Join in the fun and transform into a scarecrow, ghost, vampire and more.
