I am soo excited about this body treatment!!!!
Some muscle knots are active while some are not meaning that it only hurts when you put pressure on it, while others hurt constantly no matter what. Here are some helpful steps to take to aleivate the pain: 1. Try to figure out where your knots are. 2. Applying heating pack to the surrounding area will ease up the muscle and increase blood flow.... 3. Using a tennis/massage ball (use massage ball for deeper and firm pressure) place it inside a tube of sock. Stand against the wall placing the tennis ball sock between you and the wall. It may take some adjustments to find the knots. Once you find it hold the ball there using pressure for 20 - 30 seconds and release. Do it a few times and you will feel the pain decrease. You will feel sore from the pressure but it's a "good" sore. You may also do a light rolling of the ball up and down by bending and straightening your legs. Don't OVERDO it!!! 5. You can also do it on the floor instead of the wall. 6. If all fails....make appointment for massage!
