Cherokee Grants Program The annual "Cherokee Grants" program is set up to fund instructional services and/or the purchase of instructional equipment and materials that are not included in the current school budget. Grant applications are sent to every teacher. The "Cherokee Grants " Committee studies each request and makes a recommendation to the Alumni Association Board of Directors as to how our limited monies can best be spent to benefit the most students. The application form contains several questions that must be adequately addressed for the Committee to make its determination. Come join us for the 14th Annual "Celebrate Sequoia" Fundraiser Picnic. This is the Association's largest event of the year and we're thrilled to have it back for 2021! It will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., with lunch being served between 12:15 and 2 p.m. Purchase tickets online early because only a limited number will be available on that day. Another beautiful Veterans Day wreath created by Robin and Tim at Granara’s Flowers in San Carlos. The Sequoia High School Alumni Association places a wreath every Veterans Day. We salute all veterans - thank you for your service and your sacrifice.

We can't meet in person for our Annual Picnic, but why not have a virtual one! The picnic is our ONLY fundraiser the Alumni Association has. If you are able to and would like to ‘buy a ticket’ and have your own picnic, the Association is taking contribution in any amount to off-set the cancellation of the picnic. Know anyone who attended LA LOMA SCHOOL (in the Las Lomitas School District) between 1972-1975? The SHSAA received some yearbook donations, and 2 La Loma School memories & classmates books were included. We would like to give them to a former student who is pictured in the books. Please share ...
