A total of 1,939 law enforcement officers died in the line of duty during the past decade. That’s an average of one death every 53 hours for officers this year alone. Being on the front lines in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic has put our first responders in the most dangerous position yet. Due to COVID alone we’ve lost 154 officers who bravely put themselves on the line to protect your community. Support Them Today: www.selmapoa.com/donate When a brother or sister in ...blue is lost, we feel a huge loss among our law enforcement family. They are wives, husbands, daughters, and sons. Supporting those closest to them in times of great need is essential, helping them recover all starts with you! Donate and Sharing today helps our association provide support by sponsoring funeral arrangements, travel for families to visit their loved ones at the National Law Enforcement Memorial in DC, and other less tangible needs after the loss of one of our own. A little help can go a long way when their worlds are turned upside down. Help share this message and show your support for our heroes' families, in times when they need us most! #RememberTheFallen

While we as a nation faced a tumultuous year, one constant remained, our local Law Enforcement keeping our communities safe. Remaining on the frontline lines risking exposure every day, our officers kept our communities safe and protected. We’d like to take a moment to talk about all the positive experiences that you may have had with police officers over the years. In the comments below, we’d ask that you share your own personal experiences in which an officer came to your a...id or helped another. We hope that these untold positive experiences will reflect the heroic work and daily acts of kindness our officers contribute to our community. Share your story and together let’s show our nation’s law enforcement that we stand by them! #ShareYourStory
