The Parking lot sale starts at ten at Segal’s ATA. Come by and check it out. Some of the proceeds go to fire victims. It’s at 1416 Sonoma Ave in Santa Rosa. 10-1 on Sunday.

There will be a Parking Lot Sale at Segal's ATA on Sunday. From 10-1pm. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit families that lost their homes in the recent fire. Come shop or even bring stuff to sell. If you are interested in having a table there and sell stuff, please call and let the studio asap.

At Segal’s ATA, we held our Black Belt testing on Saturday. With Covid Protocols in place, mats and wave masters were moved out to the parking lot for an outdoor testing. Congratulations to Miss Acheckzai 2nd degree, Miss Hackett, Mrs Marinace, Miss Johnson, Mr Freeman and Mr Glidewell 1st Degrees. Senior Master Segal, Master Strain and Mr. Lansing presided in this unusual but successful location.

Things are happening at Segal’s ATA Martial Arts. To the future and beyond.....

Dear ATA family; I am very excited to share some great news with you. We will have another great instructor joining our staff (and NO debbie and I are not retiring). If any of you have ever had the good fortune to have Mr. Lansing as your judge at a tournament, you know already the kind of positive energy he has. Mr. Lansing has been my student since I started my own school in 1997 and is a 4th degree blackbelt certified instructor. He didn’t start his training with me but ...he honored me with his loyalty as his new instructor, and quickly became an instructor himself. Mr. Lansing taught classes at our first location for many years, and when he moved on to running his own school in Windsor he was deeply missed. Many of our staff and other school owners have been friends and training partners for decades and all of us can testify to the high quality of his character. With the current disruption of business, Mr. Lansing is having to close his doors at that location. He and I have always had a great working relationship and it seemed a natural thing to offer him and those who still train with him a new home. This will bring new energy and excitement not to mention another great instructor on the floor. I hope you will help me welcome him and the students that follow him to our family. Segal's ATA Martial Arts is opening up for in studio classes on June 29. As we reopen, there are many things we will need to do for everyone's health and safety. If you are on our email list, then you have gotten the protocols. In studio classes will be limited in size to meet the social distancing. We will also still be on Zoom Virtual meeting online.
