A round of likes are needed for our newest adoptable dog, Pixie! Pixie is 2 to 3 years old, medium size female German Shepherd Dog. She is friendly with other dogs and appears to be housebroken. Pixie needs to learn basic training for sit, down, etc; but she is eager to learn! If you’d like to learn more about Pixie or submit an application to adopt, please visit our website at www.scgsr.org

Just a little over a year ago Pfeiffer (previously Kara) was adopted. We're so happy to see her living her best life with her family. It's pictures like these that make the worst days in rescue a little better. It's amazing how resilient dogs are once they find the perfect place to call home. #SCGSRthegoodlife

This handsome guy, Rex (6 years old) was recently adopted. The first pic is of him saying goodbye to his long time foster, who cared for him for the past 6 months. In April, we learned that he was heartworm positive and needed treatment. Thanks to his foster family and our generous donors, we were able to give Rex the treatment he needed so he is now heartworm negative. The second picture is of Rex at his new home. ... We'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to his long term foster for taking such good care of him so he could go on to live his best life. #scgsrthegoodlife

Meet our newest arrival, Yvette. Yvette is a 2 year old female . If you’re looking for a really nice, mellow family dog, Yvette just might be the dog for you. She is on the quiet side and is very sweet. Yvette has mostly been an inside dog and is housebroken. Yvette lived with a cat in her previous home, so she would probably be ok with cats with the proper introduction. She will be available as soon as she is fully vetted. If you or someone you know is interested in adopti...ng Yvette, please click the link below to complete our online adoption application. https://www.scgsr.org/adoption-questionnaire See more
