Puffin 2 class did a Santa project today with Teacher Brannan. Christmas crafts and activities are in full swing in all Seabird classes. This week our students are having so much fun with making holiday themed crafts! Kids collaged light blue & dark blue tissue papers to make snowflakes. At Seabird Preschool we had a Cultural Potluck day to celebrate all the different cultures that our students represent. Our kids brought Burmese, Indonesian, Russian, Filipino, French, Polish, Israeli, Hawaiian, German, Pakistani, Chinese, American, Spanish and Italian dishes. At circle time that day each child told the class at least one special thing about their dish. All kids were able to tell who made it, what the dish was made out of and they felt very proud. Puffin class had a fall harvest sensory bin. They used the sensory scoopers to scoop up the corn and mini pumpkins. These scoopers are a good practice for kids to eventually hold scissors.
