My family and I have a post-election safety plan in place and I highly encourage you to have one too. I know that we want to believe that the election and the results will go smoothly, but 2020 is unique and there’s a lot on the line! Beyond physical safety, we have to prepare ourselves mentally as well. I’ve been in a lot of conversations lately with Black friends and I know there will be a collective, deep sadness for many of us if Trump wins. Let’s prepare for the worst and pray for the best . .
