Faculty Spotlight: PSFA's Mei Zhong wins a Faculty Forward Award . Professor Mei Zhong (SDSU School of Journalism & Media Studies (JMS) ) developed a cross-cultural research project for International Studies Students who could not travel during the pandemic. For this project International Studies majors interviewed international students for their research project, and led discussions for international students on various aspects of American culture. The two groups of students served as cultural informants for each other, and provided some of the interpersonal, cross-cultural experiences otherwise unavailable during the pandemic. Congrats Professor Mei Zhong!
