The primary bedroom from our #clientoneluckyladyranch project. We cut strips of oak and laid them in a herringbone pattern in the ceiling treatment and then stained them to match a colossal storage armoire (that you can’t see in this photo - one of my favorites from @formationsusa ) opposite the bed wall. It’s all a yummy mix of natural layers. Btw who says you can’t mix browny beiges & grey! I love the subtle gradations of these warm & cool neutrals together... mmmm like cream in my coffee. #interiordesign #remodel #masterbedroom #wenowsayprimary #californiastyle

With Thanksgiving just 10 days away, many of us are coming to the reluctant conclusion that gathering as normal is simply not an option this weirdest year of all years. Big sigh.... but whatever your holiday plans might be, we’re wishing you healthy and beautiful times. Covid is definitely creating space for reflection and gratitude, that is for sure! #clientoneluckyladyranch #interiordesign #diningroom #mindfulgatherings #thanksgiving #covidadjustments

Luxe Bohemiana (hey, why didn’t I think of that?) perfectly described by @mayer.rus for @archdigest and captured so beautifully by @douglasfriedman For clients @holidayreinhorn & @rainnwilson. Not even my teenagers were ever so moody! #bohostyle #interiordesign #remodel #clienthapshappytrails #creatingnoblespaces

I can’t believe I haven’t shared this yummy shot yet. It’s been a little nuts around here, I’m not gonna lie. The brilliant @mali_azima grabbed this dreamy scene just before the sun went down shooting our #clientoneluckyladyranch project. This project remains one of my all time favorites - the ultimate in timeless livability. And that view, could you die! You can see the whole project on the website. #interiordesign #remodel, #landscapedesign, #pool #creatingnoblespaces

Our kitchen on Kanan BEFORE the Woolsey Fire. Now that the rebuild is nearing the end, it’s safe for me to go back and take a peek - lol! I’m one that rarely revisits the past (it can often waste the present) so I haven’t looked at this photo since the fire! It was a cutie I have to admit. But her replacement’s not too shabby either - I can’t wait for you to see. Soon, very soon!

Only from the lens of @douglasfriedman. I can never resist an interior shot with dogs in it...but add some Fortuny fabric and layers of vintage finds, and I’m a goner! The primary bedroom from our recent story for @archdigest for clients @holidayreinhorn and @rainnwilson - turned out to be a completely enchanted and Noble Space! #spanishhacienda #remodel #architecturedesign #creatingnoblespaces #clienthapshappytrails

The gates to the inner courtyard from our recent story for @archdigest for clients @holidayreinhorn and @rainnwilson, shot by The Fascinator himself @douglasfriedman. What a joy and sobering responsibility to steward the remodel of this enchanted Hacienda designed by architect Hap Gilman in the early ‘70’s. But those gates... ya, they had us all at Hello. #interiordesign #architecture #authentic #creatingnoblespaces #clienthapshappytrails

The target I seem to aim for most in design is that sweet spot between natural & authentic and fresh & unexpected. Why? Because timeless can never be beat, and at the same time I think we all have a need to be compelled. The kitchen we just finished for clients @holidayreinhorn and @rainnwilson, featured this month in @archdigest, landed my favorite jam a bullseye.

The custom bookcase painted in Benjamin Moore’s saturated shade Yellow Oxide that anchors one end of the vibing luxe bohemiana living room for @rainnwilson & @holidayreinhorn. See the whole project in month’s digital exclusive home tour for @archdigest. With photos by @douglasfriedman, written and produced by @mayer.rus

The first leg of our journey to India and the schools in Lucknow that Mona Foundation supports here. The Prerna school for the most vulnerable girls in the area and visiting with Dr. Urvashi Sahni on the next steps. Sending love to you all with hopes that someday some of you can join us to see these schools in person. #becauseeducationchangeseverything #creatingnoblespaces #girlseducation #education #themonafoundation

The voluminous living room in our latest project now live @archdigest for @rainnwilson and @holidayreinhorn. @mayer.rus describes the vibe as luxe bohemiana and we couldn’t have said it better! Perfectly captured by The Facinator himself @douglasfriedman. Check out Douglas’ gorgeous images and the video tour now - it’s one part Magical Opium Den and one Part Enchanted Green Acres - and we couldn’t love it more! #interiordesign #bohemianstyle #ourway #creatingnoblespaces #clienthapshappytrails #authenticity

I love this moment because it embodies such a transformation! This once pitch black dark hallway was actually the catalyst that moved the client to reach out to us to design what became a whole house remodel for #clientoneluckyladyranch Ultimately every surface material and builtin was reimagined and here in the hallway to the primary suite, we incorporated solatubes (small skylights) into the roof to allow this hallway without any windows to be kissed with sunlight. Shout out to @fisherweismancollection for their show-stealing papier-mâché fixture that is the cherry on the sundae. #remodel #modernfarmhouse #ourway #creatingnoblespaces

Before a slab is ever cut, you cat bet I’m gonna be on site to place the templates! Especially when there is as much movement and figuring as in these dramatic Arabescato Corchia marble slabs. We need 8! for the new kitchen on the Kanan Rebuild project and even though all 8 are in sequence, so waterfall edges and backsplashes can be butterflied, each one is like a work of art and I want to make sure each section we cut is balanced and showcases the most beautiful portions of patterning. #ialwayshaveconstructiondustinmyhair #remodeling #construction #whitemarble #kitchendesign #creatingnoblespaces

If you heard any squealing, don’t be alarmed. It was just me. You see, I’ve been pregnant with a secret project for almost 2 years, last week she was finally born AND had her pictures taken! What an epic journey to go from house-hunting with these two very special clients, all the way through design, remodeling, furnishing and landscape phases to ultimate completion. That’s enough to be over the moon about, but when it’s the incomparable @douglasfriedman doing the picture taking with the legendary @mayer.rus producing for @archdigest, if it’s okay, I might just sail past the moon and go straight to heaven. I can’t wait for you to see the project and find out who these very special clients are. Stay tuned! #dreamteam #creatingnoblespaces #hidingababybump #asbigasahouse #attitudeofgratitude
