This is Scratch Made Living! So much cheese making and jam making happening in the kitchen today! What kind of cheese should we kick off in person classes with?!
I am very excited to announce that all Scratch Made Life Cheesemaking classes will be taught using Valley Milk Simply Bottled Raw Milk! They are based out of Modesto and are a wonderful local dairy. I had a chance to visit the farm and it is absolutely amazing. Most of their herd are beautiful jersey cows and their milk is heaven to work with. Check out and like their Facebook page and then check out their milk. When you take classes you will be able to preorder milk - $5 a gallon - and can pick up when you come to class!
IN PERSON CLASSES UPDATE I will be posting in person classes yay!! Rules:... *Class Size: Class size will be strictly limited to 6 people. (it was 10-12 before). *Ill: If you feel ill or have been ill within 3 days of class day, I am asking that you not attend class. If you prepaid for class, your class fees will be refunded. *Mask: Masks are REQUIRED. If you are aware that you have been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 or someone who has been in contact with someone else with the virus, it would be preferred that you take the next class. Yay to in person classes starting back up soon!
The quarantine has given me time to experiment and stock up my cheese fridge!! In Person Classes will be starting Mid- Late June!! I will be posting some classes in the events this weekend!

I have never found a Kombucha from the store that I loved so much I wanted to drink it every day. But now that I have made my own, I feel like where have you been all my life!
