Happy 13 year anniversary to our Practice Manager, rehab therapist and RVT, Andrea! We love her to death and would be lost without her!

Congrats to our graduate, Autzen! He did so amazingly well after his knee surgery and was such a fantastic patient. We are so proud of his progress and just love him to pieces! Go out there and take over the world, Autzen!

Reggie sure does love coming to see Andrea for his rehab therapy sessions. And we know for a fact the feeling is mutual!

The CA Vet Medical Board is again considering if PT's (what our own Krista is) should be allowed to work with animal patients, or if they need a veterinarian to directly supervise them at all times. At Scout's House, we DO have our supervising veterinarian, Dr. Leigh Stevens, perform every initial exam with Krista--but we believe that once Dr. Stevens gives her "OK," both Andrea (a Registered Veterinary Technician--who has been performing rehab therapy for 12 years) and Krist...a (who is certified to work with animals, and been doing so for 15 years) can perform therapy safely without a veterinarian looking over their shoulders. Our little lady, Teddy is our most recent graduate! She did so well after her knee surgery and such a love to work with! And look at that face!!!

Our sweet girl, Clara, brought us some adorable masks that her Momma made just for us! We’re so lucky to have such amazing clients who are looking out for us!

May 9th is such a special day for us here at Scout’s House. 15 years ago today, we opened our doors. It was the start of a wonderful vision thought up by our founder and CEO, Lisa, who was also Scout’s Mom. Since then, we have treated thousands of patients focusing on function and comfort. We’ve also made wonderful friendships and connections along the way. We are still here because of all of you and your amazing pets. We think Scout would’ve been proud. We love you all!

And here is the after video of Takoda! After eight sessions, his mobility and comfort has increased tremendously. He’s even happy to see us and greets us with a smile when he arrives. We are soooooo proud of how far this boy has come. Love you, T!
