He grew up in a town called Round Rock which is near Austin, Texas. He says, "When I was growing up, I found myself more attracted to runway shows ...on TV rather than pursuing my baseball playing dreams." Being from a little town in Texas where the fashion industry is not necessarily prevalent, he had to stall his fashion career interest. In this podcast, you hear Carlos talk about the ups & downs of building his business, how it all started, and how he went from creating custom men's shirts to servicing the bar industry. Carlos is a person who takes on challenges, willing to take risks on designs, self-taught, and never says "no" to a new opportunity. He says, "If I can build a men's dress shirt from scratch, I can build anything."
