Two weeks ago, we pitched at Nomis Solutions in Brisbane, and we are happy to say that they are our very first corporate sponsorship for this school year (2019-2020)! We will need more sponsors to help bridge the gap between what we have and what we need. This will help enable us to build a brand new state of the art robot and participate in all competitions. Our team recently participated in our very first FTC Robotics Competition. It was held on the 2nd of February in 2019 at Jefferson High School, Daly City. We competed in five qualifying tournaments, where we won the first three. At the end of the day, out of all the 28 teams, we were ranked 16th place. In Robotics, students team up to design, fund, and create a robot to compete in the annual competition. No prior experience with coding or robotics is required. There are a variety of roles available on the team, including project management, fundraising, website development, and much more!
