We’re pleased to announce the release of our newest online exhibit, Making the Grade: California and the Transcontinental Railroad on Google Arts & Culture! T...his exhibit, launched in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad, features historic documents and maps that tell the story of California’s role in the construction of the railroad. Also featured are select photographs for the California State Library. This online exhibit also formed the basis of a new installation of the same name at the California Museum!
