With the recent tragedy of a young innocent girl killed trying to save her friend from running away from the SACRAMENTO Children’s Receiving Home, they asked if I could come and speak to staff and the kids to tell my story with hope to lift some spirt. I’ve dreamed of the day I could go back to speak to the kids. This was a huge honor for me and reminds me of what matters most, and how fast we can be gone in a blink of an eye.
