Details below... . . We are incredibly grateful to those who have shown interest in shopping small this year and supporting local. With the studio's sporadic hours, we figured we would create a time in which you can stop in and shop small with us. .... Come any time between 11am and 1pm on Saturday the 5th. Meditation for Beginners . 3 session series. Wednesday evenings @ 7:30pm, beginning this Wednesday, 11/4. This is a donation based series. We highly recommend joining for all three sessions. . Maybe you've tried mediation and thought "my mind is too busy", or "It's supposed to be peaceful, I must be doing something wrong". Or perhaps you have the intention to make time to meditate, but it often get put at the bottom of your list because life simply takes over.... . This class is designed to give a basic understanding of meditation and mindfulness practices, the benefits of meditation, and how to create your own practice. . You will learn basic tips on how to meditate and to use meditation as a tool to gain a deeper understanding of yourself. Meditation can enhance your awareness and teach you how to live in the present moment. . Many of us live our lives running from task to task, distraction to distraction. We are tossed around by the ups and downs of our emotions and the events of our lives and accept this as normal. Who’s loving these fun facts each week?! I know we are It’s so fun getting to know our teachers on a more personal level. For this weeks #FunFactFriday we would like to introduce Amanda! Enjoy some fun facts about her below: . She loves all hand balances in yoga, but her favorite is finding flight in Crane pose! . Amanda graduated with a bachelor's and graduates degree in Kinesiology / Exercise Science. She loves bringing her knowledge of biomechanics and physiology in...to her yoga classes. . Her family is of Hawaiian descent and she has been trained as a hula dancer since she was a toddler! . Amanda has been lucky enough to travel all over the world, but she can't wait to take her dream trip to swim with great white sharks in South Africa. . She loves raising her family in the foothills of Coarsegold. They wait all year for the tarantulas to visit in the fall, because they think the eight legged furry friends are cute :) See more

FIERCE FLOW IS BACK! Just at a new time! . Come get your Fierce Flow on with @rhythm_and_light Tuesday mornings at 7am . What is Fierce Flow? This video previews an example of some of the sequencing you may see. Description of class is listed below. Feel free to drop questions in the comments! ... . An upbeat faster paced power flow that will get your heart rate pumping and leave you feeling strong. This is a higher intensity class that that has an athletic feel, focusing on strength, while sticking with a yoga foundation. A light-hearted class that kicks up the music and encourages you to have fun while you flow! This is a full heat class at 90 degrees. Some explicit language may be used in music playlist. We’re happy to see this familiar face back in the studio with us! Please join us in welcoming Astrid back to the Four Corners Fam! Astrid has dedicated herself to the practice, study, and teaching of yoga since 2016. She utilizes Yoga as a mindfulness practice, to release stress and tension, and for mental and emotional wellness. She found yoga as a rec...overy tool in healing from an injury sustained during her service in the Air Force. Astrid has trained extensively in the study of yoga earning an RYT 500-hour certification and has over 4 years of experience teaching Yin, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Power yoga at gyms, yoga studios, nonprofit organizations, and a rehabilitation and recovery center. Astrid wants to empower her students to bring awareness and meditative practice into their everyday interactions, and to see the benefit of applying their practice in all aspects of their lives. Astrid’s light shines brightly as she shares her joy through teaching yoga. Everyone is welcome to join in this joy as she guides students to move and stretch into their own unique shapes, get out of their heads and into their bodies, strengthen, relax and meditate. Sound Bath Sundays are back! . The first Sunday of each month, Nancy Miller, will host a Sound Bath @ 7pm. A wonderful way to end the week and prepare your mind & body for a healthy week ahead. . This Sunday, 11/1 join @millernancy64 as she guides us through an hour of sound & vibration that helps to clear emotion, reduce stress, and restore balance.

This weekend’s #StudentSpotlight is Kristen! This new mama was practicing with us before pregnancy and kept it going during , all the way up to the day before labor!!! She brings a positive energy each time she’s in and clearly her sweet son Matthew has the same good vibes! Check out what she has to share about her yoga journey... . I’ve been practicing on and off since I was a freshman in college as a way to unwind physically from sports/intense exercise and mentally fro...m coursework- (my first consistent yoga instructor was also my physics instructor!) . I love that yoga always make me feel better (and the little family of friends at Four Corners of course!) . Favorite pose: Supine twist and anything balancing (tree, half moon, headstand) - it’s challenging, but very rewarding when I can do it and it forces me to turn off all my other thoughts. . We’re back on this beautiful Friday morning with some more fun facts With this weeks #FunFactFriday we would like to introduce Lucy! Enjoy some fun facts about her below: . Lucy only has brothers and sons (and her husband only has brothers as well!) So her girlfriends are extra special to her! She considers herself a nutrition nerd. Most of her free time is spent pouring over heath and nutrition information.... She loves to create healthy bakery options. They usually are low glycemic and gluten free. Her favorite ingredients are almond flour, monk fruit sweetener, almond butter, cinnamon and OH* dark chocolate.

If you’re looking for some inspiration on your Monday morning, we highly recommend following this story. . . @hey_mr_stetler, husband of our amazing teacher, @rhythm_and_light, just ran 37 miles for this 37th birthday. But what’s even more inspiring is that this 37 year old was given a 3-5% chance of living beyond 5 years with his cancer diagnosis in 2015. . The Stetler family continues to face the battle of cancer each day, but they choose to live with HOPE.... . As @rhythm_and_light says, Joel’s run was a reminder that life is meant to be lived. It can be lived when things are easy and comfortable but it can also be lived when things are painful and difficult. Humans are capable of doing and overcoming hard things. . Please continue to follow their story. Consider learning about and contributing to their cause @bravelikegabe . . Thank you Stetler fam for instilling hope and inspiration in us all. See more
