The Preschool Services Department's efforts to support enrolled children during site closures was recently featured on ABC 7 News. The food program funded by the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) was highlighted as children have the opportunity to receive meals and connect with their teachers. A virtual class session demonstrating PSD's efforts to continue supporting children's learning and provide a sense of normalcy was also featured. #ProudOfPSD

On the last day of Head Start Awareness Month, PSD participated in the kick off event for End Child Poverty. We were honored to have Assemblymember Eloise Gomez Reyes along with the renowned civil rights leader Dolores Huerta visit the Mill Center Head Start. Prior to the visit Assemblymember Reyes, Ms. Huerta and other community leaders shared goals as well as the hard work local agencies and County departments are doing to end child poverty in San Bernardino County.
