The grapes used in our Rose of Merlot are destined for greatness as soon as they enter the winery. From the crush pad to aging in stainless steel vessels, we meticulously craft this wine to enhance the nuances and flavors of the vineyard location, all intended to elevate your wine experience!

Crisp, refreshing, and food-friendly, our 2019 Sauvignon Blanc was made for the summertime. Aged in stainless steel, the 2019 carries wonderful aromas of citrus and peaches, leading to flavors of stonefruit and minerality that pairs well with sitting poolside & good company!

Crafted in small batches, we create world-class wines that reflect the growing season that influenced the fruit, giving each vintage a uniqueness only nature can provide. Life is too short to drink anything ordinary!

Laborious attention to our vineyards is an essential part of our daily work. From the first pruning in the early spring and now after bud burst, we tend to the vineyards year-round to create the best conditions for our vines to develop.

Charlie Sawyer’s compelling desire to return to his roots was the main inspiration for his founding of a family named Winery At Sawyer Cellars, we hold true to the traditions of old Napa Valley through minimal intervention in our winemaking process, which allows us to express the unique characteristics of the terroir, vintage, and varietal

Named the historic heart of the Napa Valley, the Rutherford appellation sits between the east of the Vaca Mountains and the west by Mt St. John. Known for producing some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in the Napa Valley, we are truly humbled to be able to pursue our passion for wine with legendary quality fruit.

Do you have a favorite vintage of Sawyer Cellar Wines? Our personal favorite was the 1991 vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon which will always be remembered for its early harvest that was cradled by a warm winter and unseasonable May rains. Followed by a cool Fall the conditions were perfect for an early harvest, which ended up producing one of the best vintages of Sawyer Cellars to date
