Pier City Cider Update First, we hope all of you have been healthy throughout the year of pandemic. We have spoken to some who have been ill and thankfully recovered! Next-what is happening with the cider? Our last general update was we were moving to cans. After great consideration, we have abandoned cans for two main reasons. Can manufacturers will not guarantee the can won't deteriorate with the cider- due to the high acidity. The other reason is the supply chain. C...ompanies are backlogged waiting for foreign shipments to arrive. We would not want that to be an issue moving forward. So now what? Back to bottles, but in a 355ml package. The Federal government approved this new size for wine and cider products. We are pleased with the shape and size AND it is produced in the U.S. Labels have to be changed and printed for our new cute package! Lastly and really exciting news- we purchased a bottling line with automatic labeler for our cider! This was a huge move for us and will allow us to produce much efficiently once we get online. We thank all of you for your patience. By the end of July we will have a full line of ciders to offer for sale on a regular basis. Gary will continue to work on new flavor profiles as well as producing some of your favorites. When you visit now We still have 5 ciders on tap to enjoy in the Tasting Room. Kegs are not an issue producing. Stop in for some cider, wine and music. Sat & Sun, 1-3:30pm (except June 12 & 13) & June 4, Friday night 6pm.

Are we all anxious to toast out 2020 and welcome in the hope of 2021? We have the perfect companions for you! Bauble Brut and Baubles Brut Rose. Both are made in the Methode Champenoise style (the same way Champagne in France is made). Our Brut is mostly Chardonnay with Pinot Noir and a few other varietals blended in ($34/bottle). The Brut Rose is primarily Pinot Noir which gives the bubbly a rosy blush color ($36/bottle). Four Brix Winery will be open one last day in 2020, Wed, Dec 30, 11am -2pm.
