These 3 beauties need a rescue or homes. They cannot go back to where they’re from. They came from the colony where the other black male had a fish hook in his mouth and someone threw 3 beaten to death cats in their yard. So we pulled whatever we could get right away off the property. There’s still 2 tuxedo teens that are shy left there and a litter of possibly 4 five week olds that need out of there. @luxepaws Anger, frustration & deep sadness are all the things that rush over you time & time again dealing with the result of our societies inability to utilize humane solutions such as spay/neuter to prevent innocent animals from suffering. Kittens who we rescue from a TNR locations are often anemic, sick, have liquid diarrhea, manageable things we deal with on a regular basis with babies coming off the street. What gets us is the fact that there are thousands of babies ...out there right now, nobody will be able to help THEM ALL & they’re struggling, in many cases suffering simply because animal advocates aren’t fighting to make more spay’s & neuter’s happen. Handing out free spay/neuters should be something every human with a heart supports 150% be it by investing donor dollar to ensure there’s clinics across the country fixing as many cats as they can, volunteers helping animals in their community find those lifesaving spays, rescues promoting & informing the public that together we can FIX the problem, not just tell people to adopt don’t shop. To many, compassion for animals means not eating them, wearing them, what about we stop ignoring their breeding & fix them instead of killing them, or leaving them to suffer. We as a nation have a lot of issues we need to attack, many don’t require more studies or data, just our willingness to address the root of problem & compassionate action. Every kitten has a mother cat & our mission isn’t to provide the public with adoptable animals, it’s laser-focused on making sure these little souls don’t suffer, they’re safe & loved & we find & FIX their mother cat so dozens more wont take their place. TNR & street rescue will never be easy rescue work, but delivers the greatest impact. RESCUED Another shy teen from the Monterey Park Colony mess that could use rescue. 3 more kittens this last week pulled from the property. He’s sweet. Luckily he just has a little congestion and sneezing but thank god no eye issues. Thank you all who donate the supplies. We are using all the feli way spray on all the older shy babies. And the lysine and terramycin for the sicker ones. Thank you so much for your help and for caring for the kitties.
